This course offers a multidisciplinary approach to the study of human development throughout the lifespan.

Unit 1: Introduction to Human Development

Students explore theories and perspectives related to human development.

Unit 2: Childhood Development

Students examine physical, emotional, and social development during childhood.

Unit 3: Adolescence and Identity

Students investigate factors that influence identity formation during adolescence.

Unit 4: Adulthood and Aging

Students explore development and challenges in adulthood and later life.

Unit 5: Relationships and Social Influences

Students analyze the role of relationships and social environments in development.

Unit 6: Culminating Developmental Study

Students complete a research project examining human development across the lifespan.
