Healthy Active Living Education (Grade 11)

This course focuses on the development of personal fitness and healthy living practices. Students will participate in physical activities that promote lifelong fitness and well-being.

Unit 1: Active Living and Physical Fitness

Students participate in activities designed to improve personal fitness and endurance.

Unit 2: Movement Skills and Physical Activities

Students develop movement skills through a variety of sports and physical activities.

Unit 3: Healthy Living and Wellness

Students explore the relationship between physical activity, nutrition, and mental health.

Unit 4: Relationships and Personal Safety

Students examine strategies for maintaining healthy relationships and personal well-being.

Unit 5: Personal Fitness Planning

Students develop individualized plans to maintain lifelong physical activity.

Unit 6: Culminating Wellness Project

Students complete a final project demonstrating their understanding of healthy living concepts.
