The Grade 3 Language course helps students strengthen reading comprehension, writing skills, and oral communication. Students engage with a variety of literary and informational texts while learning how to organize ideas clearly and communicate effectively. Students develop greater confidence as readers and writers while exploring how language can inform, entertain, and persuade.

Unit 1: Reading Development

Students build reading fluency and comprehension by exploring stories, informational texts, and digital media. They learn strategies to identify main ideas, understand characters and events, and respond thoughtfully to texts.

Unit 2: Writing Development

Students learn to organize ideas into clear paragraphs while writing narratives, informational texts, and personal reflections. Emphasis is placed on clarity, organization, and developing vocabulary.

Unit 3: Oral Communication

Students strengthen speaking and listening skills through discussions, presentations, and collaborative learning activities. They practice expressing ideas clearly and responding respectfully to others.

Unit 4: Media Literacy

Students learn how different forms of media communicate ideas and messages. They explore how images, words, and sounds influence meaning in digital and print media.
