Foundations for College Mathematics (Grade 11)

This course enables students to broaden their understanding of mathematics as it is applied in the workplace and everyday life. Students will investigate real-world applications of mathematics involving measurement, geometry, trigonometry, and algebra.

Unit 1: Mathematical Foundations and Problem Solving

Students develop problem-solving strategies used in everyday mathematical situations.

Students investigate measurement concepts and geometric relationships.

Students explore algebraic relationships and their practical uses.

Unit 5: Financial and Workplace Mathematics

Students investigate financial calculations and workplace applications of mathematics.
