Communications Technology (Grade 11)

This course enables students to develop knowledge and skills in communications technology. Students will use media technologies to design and produce media products.

Unit 1: Media Technology Foundations

Students explore communication technologies and the role of media in society.

Unit 2: Photography and Digital Imaging

Students develop skills in photography and digital image editing.

Unit 3: Graphic Design and Visual Media

Students learn principles of visual communication and graphic design.

Unit 4: Video and Audio Production

Students develop skills in recording and editing video and audio media.

Unit 5: Media Literacy and Audience Engagement

Students analyze how media influences audiences and society.

Unit 6: Culminating Media Production Project

Students create a final media project demonstrating their technical and creative skills.
