Chemistry (Grade 12 – University Preparation)

This course enables students to deepen their understanding of chemistry through the study of organic chemistry, electrochemistry, chemical equilibrium, and atomic and molecular structure.

Unit 1: Organic Chemistry

Students investigate the structure and reactions of organic compounds.

Unit 2: Structure and Properties of Matter

Students explore atomic theory and molecular structure.

Unit 3: Chemical Equilibrium

Students investigate equilibrium systems and their applications.

Unit 4: Electrochemistry

Students examine oxidation-reduction reactions and electrochemical cells.

Unit 5: Applications of Chemistry

Students explore the role of chemistry in industry and technology.

Unit 6: Culminating Chemistry Investigation

Students complete a final project applying advanced chemistry concepts.
